học kỳ đầu tại Pháp;
học kỳ tiếp theo tại Đức hoặc Hà Lan;
thực tập tại Ý, Tây Ban Nha hoặc Bỉ;

If you're planning to study in France but are concerned about the cost, the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship is one of the most prestigious and attractive funding opportunities you should not miss.

Funded by the European Union (EU), Erasmus Mundus is a fully funded scholarship program for international students pursuing joint Master's degrees offered by leading European universities. Many of these programs include renowned French universities and are taught entirely in English, creating excellent opportunities for Vietnamese students to study in France in English.

For the 2027 admission cycle, Erasmus Mundus remains a top choice for applicants with strong academic records who aspire to study in an international environment while receiving comprehensive financial support.

What Is Erasmus Mundus?

Erasmus Mundus is part of the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, established to promote international academic cooperation and enhance student mobility across countries.

Today, the program primarily focuses on Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM)—joint Master's degrees designed and delivered by at least three universities from different countries.

One of the program's most distinctive features is that students study in two or more European countries during a single degree program and graduate with a degree that is recognized throughout Europe.

For students planning to study in France, many Erasmus Mundus programs are offered in partnership with prestigious French institutions, including:

Université Paris-Saclay
Université Grenoble Alpes
Aix-Marseille Université
Université de Lille
Université de Montpellier
IMT Atlantique
Toulouse INP
Centrale Nantes

In addition, most Erasmus Mundus programs are taught entirely in English, allowing international students to study in France without needing advanced French language proficiency before arrival.

Why Is Erasmus Mundus One of the Most Prestigious Scholarships for Studying in France?

Beyond covering tuition fees, Erasmus Mundus offers a wide range of exceptional benefits.

Study in Multiple European Countries

Instead of studying at a single university, Erasmus Mundus students rotate among partner institutions within the consortium.

For example, you might:

Complete your first semester in France
Spend your second semester in Germany or the Netherlands
Undertake an internship in Italy, Spain, or Belgium
Graduate with a joint degree awarded by the partner universities

This unique international learning experience is one of the program's greatest advantages.

Study Entirely in English

One of Erasmus Mundus' biggest strengths is that the majority of programs are delivered in English.

This makes it an ideal opportunity for students who wish to study in France in English, particularly those who have not yet obtained French language qualifications.

Join a Global Alumni Network

Erasmus Mundus students come from more than 150 countries worldwide.

Upon graduation, you become part of a large international alumni community, providing valuable networking opportunities for career development, research collaboration, and future doctoral studies.

Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Benefits for 2027

Erasmus Mundus is considered a fully funded scholarship, offering substantial financial support throughout the program.

In most cases, the scholarship includes:

Full tuition fee waiver for the entire degree
Monthly living allowance (the amount varies depending on the program and academic year)
International travel support
Installation or settlement allowance
International health insurance

Some programs also provide additional support for visa application fees and other related expenses.

Thanks to this generous financial package, most scholarship recipients are able to complete their studies without significant financial concerns.
